Vance “Tubby” Myers, age 95, of Tracy City, TN, passed away on April 24, 2022. He was born in Johnson Gulf TN to the late Benson and Nancy Campbell Myers on October 23, 1926.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Aileen Meeks Myers; a son, James Myers; great granddaughter, Chelsy McDaniel Bean; brothers, Carl Myers, Leonard Myers, and Jack Braden; and sisters, Eller Anderson, Perry Fults, and Florence Braden.
He is survived by his children, Martha Eldridge, Ruth Johnson, Kathleen Campbell, and Mitchell Myers; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 2:00 PM with Dr. Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Coalmont Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 4-9 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home.
