Deidre “Dee” Jane Sanders, age 57, of Tracy City, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born in Fairmont, West Virginia to Ray and Jean Merriman Moore on January 15, 1965. Deidre was known to everyone as “Dee.” She loved spending time with her family and was very close to her five sister-in -laws. She liked to cook, be outdoors, and enjoyed gardening and flowers. Dee is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Myrtle Merriman and Bill and Maudie Moore; brothers, Joey Rhea, Steve Moore, and Tommy Moore; and uncle, Louie Lacare. She is survived by her husband, Glen Ed Sanders Sr.; sons, Glen Sanders Jr. and Nicholas Sanders; daughters, Nicole Gipson (Paul) and Danielle Johnson (Daniel); grandchildren, Alyssa Gipson, Austin Gipson, Sean Sanders, Addyson Johnson, Skylar Johnson, and Destiny Johnson; parents, Ray and Jean Merriman Moore; sister, Tammy Todd (Woody); aunts, Linda Lacare (Louie) and Deborah Robinson (Denny); uncle, Mike Merriman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 3:00 PM with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday till the time of service.
