Mrs. Mary Leona Hamby age 83 of Monteagle passed from this life Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Embrey & Mary Johnson and was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hamby; granddaughter, Jeri Lynn Schild.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Anne Hamby, Cheryl Lynn Hamby and Deborah Hamby Myers; brother, Danny Johnson; sister, Glenda Scissom; grandchildren, Stacey, Michael, Holly, Derrick and T J; several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. Friends and family may share memories and condolences with the family at: www.cumberlandfh@gmail.com.
