Obituary of Kay Griffith

Tracy City, Tennessee – Mrs. Ruby Kay Griffith, 76, passed away Saturday March 19, 2022, at the Southern Tennessee Hospital in Winchester, Tennessee. She was born in Altamont, Tennessee on December 27, 1945. She was a member of the Myers Hill Methodist Church and has served as bookkeeper for Tracy City Elementary for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carlene Haynes Eldridge; daughter, Crystal Nunley; grandson, Dustin Nunley; brother, Stephen Eldridge; husbands, Jimmy Jordan and Billy Griffith. She is survived by her father, Herschel Eldridge; daughter, Paula Clay; son, Wayne (Samantha) Stevens; brother, Roger (Kathy) Eldridge; grandchildren, Travis Scott, Chad (Ann) and Jerrad (Morgan) Clay, Amanda and Nikki Nunley, Chase (Victoria) and Casey Stevens; 7 great grandchildren; nieces, Candace (Shawn) Simmons and Tiffany Eldridge; nephew, Stevie (Wendy) Eldridge. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Wednesday at the Myers Hill Methodist Church with Pastor Dennis Rollins officiating with burial to follow in the Plainview Cemetery.
