Margaret Ann Tipton, age 86, of Tracy City, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. She was born in Tracy City to the late Alton and Beatrice Crabtree Geary on September 8, 1935. Margaret was affectionately known as “Sissy” by everyone. She loved to garden and can vegetables. She had a special place in her heart for cats and dogs. She loved to find great deals at flea markets and yard sales with her late husband and loved to spend time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar “Big Boy” Tipton; son, Michael Tipton; brother, Tommy Geary; and sister, Janet Hunizker.
She is survived by one son, Jerry (Janie) Tipton; two grandchildren, Deanna (Nick) Gipson and Keith Tipton; three great-grandchildren, Jaden, Brentlee, and Costan Gipson; and one brother, Ronnie (Bettie) Geary.
Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Plainview Cemetery in Tracy City at 4:00 PM with Ministers Nick Gipson and Creig Kimbro officiating.
