Obituary of David Edward Tate

David Edward Tate, age 75, from Tracy City, Tennessee passed away February 27, 2022. David was born in Altamont, Tennessee on April 09, 1946, to the late Buford and Sarah Tate. He is also proceeded in death by his brothers; Richard, Linuel, Sherman, and Phillip, sisters: Ruth McGee and Dorthy Jean Fults. David was an avid deer hunter, he also enjoyed fishing and mowing most importantly he loved spending time with family and grandkids. He is survived by his wife Kathy Tate, daughters; Cheryl (Ronnie) Foshee, and Karen (Benji) Ingleburger, son; Chad (Shasta) Tate, grandchildren; Stephen Moses, Austin Foshee, Braden Foshee, Emily Foshee, Elizabeth Sanders, Amber Ingleburger, and Marley Tate and one great grandchild Mason Moses, sisters; Jewel (Ronnie) Akins, and Annie Mae King, several nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Foster and Lay Chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee, with Bro. Larry Campbell and Jeff Meeks. Burial will immediately follow at Clouse Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 5:00-9:00 P.M.
