Obituary of John Wesley Wiggins, Sr.

Mr. John Wesley Wiggins, Sr. age 79, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed from this life Friday evening, February 18, 2022, at his home. John had worked for Nunley Poultry before his retirement. Preceding him in death was his father, Robert Wiggins; mother, Louvenia Byers; son, John W. Wiggins, Jr.; granddaughter, Brittany Lynn Bean; great-grandson, Joe Michael Tate, Jr., sister, Elander Campbell. He was a loving father, husband and to all his family. John and Jewell attended Sweeton Hill Church. Survivors include his wife, Jewell Wiggins, daughters, Brenda (Mike) Byers, Teresa (Cob) Bean; adopted son, Dean (Bridge) Nunley; granddaughters, Monica Tate and Melissa Mosley. Great-grandchildren, Abbie Tate and Tristen Mosley; sister, Roberta Sweeton. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend John Potts officiating. Burial will be in Bonny Oaks Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, Foster & Lay Chapel, 96 Saint Clair Street, Tracy City, Tn.
