Obituary of Helen Dean Caldwell

Mrs. Helen Dean Caldwell, age 80, of Tracy City, TN, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born in Stevenson, AL, to the late William “Bill” and Pauline Kirk Hayes on April 19, 1941. She was a cook at Monteagle Truck Plaza for over 20 years. She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets, loved her chihuahuas and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Caldwell; son-in-law, Lanny Campbell; and a granddaughter, Brandy Cunningham. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Campbell; grandchildren, Angela Layne (Chris) and Amy Campbell (Bryan Scott); great-grandchildren, Austin Layne, Caitlyn Layne, Kaden Layne, Justin Hall, and Jacob Cunningham; great great-granddaughter, Addison Layne; brothers, Thomas R. Hayes and Samuel R Nichols; and a niece, Barbara Lutz. The funeral service will be Monday, February 21, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 2:00 PM with Dr. Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday till the time of service.
