Mary Lee Johnson, age 92, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was born October 5, 1929, to William and Hattie Hill. In addition to her parents, Mary Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Alton “Bear” Johnson; brothers, Joseph Hill and Osler Hill; sisters, Lucille Gipson Brown, Edith Layne Shirley, Fermenda Hassebrock, and Margaret Jordan.
She is survived by her sons, Ernie Keith (Lorraine) Johnson, Michael Alton Johnson, and Thomas Dee (Julie) Johnson; grandchildren, Brandon (Sara) Johnson, Russell Johnson, Trevor (Andrea) Johnson, Anna Marie (John) Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Ashton, Zayne Asher, Everett Bear, Jayce Alan, Emalynn Jayde, Lillianna Grace.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home - Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 2:00 PM with Bro. Mike Rigsby and Julie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Summerfield Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster & Lay Chapel from 12 P.M. – 2 P.M. prior to the service.
