Amos Phillip Anderson, age 58, of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away January 18, 2022. Amos was born in Coalmont, Tennessee to the late Elbert Hubert Anderson and Ruby Shrum. Some of the things he enjoyed in life where hunting, fishing, camping, fixing up junk cars, riding 4-wheelers, watching deer in the front yard and anything that got him outdoors.
Survivors include his wife Carol Anderson, son John Anderson, daughter Ashley (Chris) Anderson, grandchildren; Satera and Brixden Caldwell, brothers; Thomas (Greg), Frank (Madge), Darell, Roy and Jesse (Michelle), sisters; Daisy (Scott), and Linda along with several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday January 23, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee with Brother Jeff Nelson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Tate Cemetery, Martin Springs, Tennessee. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 5:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
