Mr. Thomas Day Snowden Jr. passed away at Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer, Tennessee on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Mr. Snowden attended Mc Callie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was a graduate of The University of Oklahoma. He did graduate work at the University of South Florida. Mr. Snowden was a member of Christ Church Monteagle, Tennessee and was also involved in other various Conservation organizations. Mr. Snowden was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Day Snowden Sr., and Lily Lucille Berwick Snowden.
Survivors include his loving wife Mrs. Dolores Snowden, children Thomas Day Snowden III, Dorothy Hughetta Snowden, Stephanie D. Snowden, and Lydia Rhys Snowden. Grandchildren: Melissa Elizabeth Mitchell, Abigail Dolbare Snowden, and Jason Day Snowden.
A Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Christ Church in Monteagle with Bishop Millsaps officiating. Memorial Donations may be made in memory of Mr. Snowden to Christ Church P.O. Box 157 Monteagle, Tennessee 37356.
