Obituary of Jimmie Shrum

Mr. Jimmie Donald Shrum, age 74 of Sequatchie, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. Jimmie was born in Tracy City to the late Sherman Shrum and Edna Way Shrum. In addition to his parents Jimmie was preceded in death by brothers Andrew, Jess, Joe and Bill Shrum and sister Rena Haynes. Jimmie was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his sister Mary Anderson of Florida; brother Fred Shrum, Tracy City and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Barry Nolan and Bobby Shrum officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Tuesday. Burial will be in Pryor Ridge Cemetery in Tracy City with full military honors conducted by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
