Danny Ray Champion age 65 of Decherd, Tennessee and formerly of Monteagle passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his home. He was retired from Rogers Group as an equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy, and Ruth Champion.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Laura Champion; brother, Howard Lewis Lankford; grandson, Ganon Champion
A celebration of life service for Danny will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church, 112 Sipes Street in Winchester, Tennessee 37398, with Brother John Westerfield officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour before services at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
