Obituary of April Renee Carpenter

April Renee Carpenter, Age 40, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Center in Sewanee, Tennessee. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Clay Carpenter and Karla Greene. She is preceded in death by her stepfather Michael Mills, and Grandmother Beverly Wyatt. April was a fun loving and goofy person who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed playing word search and watching family feud. She is survived by her significant other of a loving 14 years Paul Meeks, son, Gavin Roden; daughters, Brianna Roden and Paige Roden; mother, Karla Greene; brother, Trenton Warren; sisters, Autumn Williamson, Morgan Hammel, and Miranda Barksdale; mother figure Cathy Porter, friend and father of her children Michael Roden; along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Monday September 27, 2021, in the Foster in Lay Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with burial immediately following at Pryor Ridge Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M.
