Mr. Christopher James Cassidy, age 28, of Monteagle, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2021. Chris is survived by his parents, Joey and Donna Beth Nolan; his grandparents, Linda Thomas of Monteagle, and Barry and Clara Nolan of Tracy City; brothers, Grayson and Beau of Tracy City, and Sam and his wife Summer of Rutledge; sister, Nikki of Hillsboro; niece, Journey Grace; aunts and uncles, Randy and Rhonda, Jeremiah and Candy, and Diana; cousins, Jamison and his wife Chyna, Hannah, Shaylee, Blade, Araya and Miah; his church family and many friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his dad, Dan Cassidy. Chris was a member and the bass player at Oak Grove Independent Church. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans for the past 14 years. He was also a past member of White’s Battery Wheeler’s Artillery Cannon crew. Chris had a love for history. He also enjoyed fishing and golf. Chris was an avid fantasy football league player. He loved talking, playing, and Monday morning quarterbacking about the game. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Chris loved to laugh and had the gift of making others laugh with his crazy voice imitations and sense of humor. There will be a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 12 noon. Cumberland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
