Obituary of Carl Condra

Mr. Carl Eugene Condra, age 74, of Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Born on January 22, 1947, in Monteagle, Tennessee, to the late Charles and Grace Condra, Carl devoted his life to being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked most of his life as a carpenter and loved teaching others how to fish and hunt. He enjoyed working with wood, fishing for crappie and was an avid hunter of deer, squirrel, rabbit and doves. In his younger days, he raced cars and was a Golden Glove Boxer. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Morris (Georgianne) Anderson and Fate (Rhoda) Condra; one sister Fay (Bob) Heade. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carolyn Condra; three sons, Carl (Michelle) Condra of Monteagle, Charles (Jayme) Condra of Monteagle, and Shawn Condra of Monteagle; one daughter, Alisha (Scott) Jariett of Monteagle; three brothers, John Condra of Monteagle, Edward (Patsy) Condra of Hillsboro, and Charles (Patricia) Condra of Owosso, MI; two sisters, Shirley ( Robert) Keasling of Hillsboro and Grace (Bobby) Frazier) of Manchester; grandchildren, Kayman (Tristan) Little of Tracy City, Hunter (Madison) Condra of Coalmont, Alexis Jariett of Nashville, Tara (Tyler) Jeffery of Fairbanks, Alaska, Hayden Jariett, River Condra, Colton Jariett, Sophie Condra, and Olivia Jariett; great-grandchildren, Greyson Jeffery, Eva Little, Maverick Jeffery, Easton Condra, Illyria Jackson, and Nova Little; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 5-8PM at Cumberland Funeral Home-Monteagle. Funeral services will be conducted at Cumberland Funeral Home on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 2PM with interment to follow at Monteagle Cemetery.
