Obituary of Charles Edward Green

Charles Edward Green, age 76, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Charles was born December 24, 1944 to the late Dortha and Beuna Green. He was an avid outdoorsman, whether that was hunting, fishing, or gardening; he enjoyed his work of laying block and pouring concrete; but most of all he loved spending time with family, especially his great-grandbabies. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Coy Dale; five brothers, Lonnie Green, Benton Green, Preston Green, Elmer Green, and Paul Green; two sisters, Creasie Meeks and Minnie Harris; and one brother-in-law, Leon Campbell. Survivors include one son, Ralph (Rose) Green; three grandchildren, Charles Heath Green, Cyle Edward Green, and Skylar Meeks; three great-grandchildren, Jameson Jase, Courtney Elizabeth, and Janie Grace; one brother, Joe (Margarete) Green of Mt. Juliet; one sister, Thelma Campbell of Tracy City; special friend, Opal McBee; special nephews, Mike (Vickie) Green and Doug (Roxanne) Green; special great-niece, Jessica Green; along with other special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home – Tracy City on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4–8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Foster – Lay Chapel on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2 PM with Bobby Winton and Tyler McCullough officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Plainview Cemetery.
