Obituary of Carolyn Shrum

Mrs. Carolyn Shrum, age 66, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Born to the late Howard and Elsie Nunley, Carolyn will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family. Time with her family is what she lived for. Her grandchildren brightened her spirit and smile. She was a God loving, nurturing, loving mother and wife. Her sweet voice and unconditional love will forever be missed. She is so very loved by her husband, children and grandchildren. We are blessed and thankful for the life and memories God gave us with her & blessed that he chose her as our mother. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Shrum Sr.; one son, Jerry (Kerri Harrison) Shrum Jr.; one daughter, Tammy Shrum (Eric) Van Hooser; and grandchildren, Derick Van Hooser, Dominick Shrum, Dalton Shrum, Andrew Shrum, Addison Shrum, and Amelia Shrum. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Cumberland Funeral Home from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Foster and Lay Chapel, on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 2 PM, with Bro. Larry Campbell officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Pryor Ridge Cemetery.
