Jimmy Lee Turner, 58, of Sewanee, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Mr. Turner was a carpenter by trade, a musician and proud of his Native American heritage. He was preceded in death by his parentes Estle Lee Turner and Frances Jeanette Anderson and grandparents Walter and Annie Turneer and Harvey and Ruth Sutherland. He is survived by his wife Mary Stuart Turner, grandsons Trenton Jack (Samanntha) and Robert Lee Turner, brother Ricky Allen (Nancy Carol) Turner and half-brother John Anderson, Jr. Also surviving are Aunts and Uncles Dorothy and Francis Thorpe, Leon and Sarah Sutherland, Doreen Bennett and William Ray Turner, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and his six West Highland White Terrier babies. A visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 from 3:30 P,M. until 6:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
