Obituary of Shelby "Rocky" Francis Rakauskas

Shelby “Rocky” Francis Rakauskas, age 80, of Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away on February 27, 2021. Rocky was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 05, 1941 to the late Frank and Mary Rakauskas. He was always working with cars in some way shape or form, either as a mechanic or as a race car driver. He was an animal lover by heart hummingbirds being just one of his favorites. He also enjoyed breeding collies and fishing in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Inez Rakauskas; daughters, Deanne Fehr (Brian), VA., Elaine Rakauskas, VA., Gwen Ternet-Burlison (Jason Burlison), TN.; sons, Keith (Cynthia) Cox, TN., and Barry (Lesa) Cox, TN.; sister, Mary Joyce (Don) Herbert, IL.; grandchildren, Michael Brandon Fehr, VA., Shea Cox, TN., Jennifer Cox, TN., Colt Ternet, Jr., IN., J.J. Arnold, TN., and KellieMae Burlison, TN.; and one great granddaughter Leah Shadrick, TN. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
