Obituary of Aileen Myers

Ethel “Aileen” Myers, age 91, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Mrs. Myers was born in Coalmont, Tennessee to her late parents, France Meeks and Ethel Price Meeks. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She liked working on her yard and being outside. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Myers; four brothers, Martin "Lester", Siebert, Claude, and Earl Dewitt Meeks. Survivors include her husband, Vance Myers; one son, Mitchell (Pam) Myers; three daughters, Martha (Hizzie) Eldridge, Ruth (Boyd) Johnson, and Kathy (Brent) Campbell; one brother, William Lester “Turkey” Meeks; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Cumberland Funeral Home – Tracy City from 4-9PM. Funeral services will be held in the Foster-Lay Chapel on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12PM with Dr. Clayton Jones officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Coalmont Cemetery in Coalmont, TN.
