George Eugene “Gene” Irvin, age 58, passed away on February 5, 2021. He was born on October 8, 1962. He fought a long battle with lung cancer.
He was preceded in death by his father George E. Irvin and brother Bobby Irvin
He is survived by his mother Myrtle Irvin; brothers Jim Irvin of Tracy City, Bruce (Kathy) Irvin of McMinnville, and Chris (Lindsey) Irvin of Tracy City; sisters, Rhonda (Kelly) Layne of Monteagle, Charmin (Nathan) Meeks of Tracy City, and LeTrecia Irvin of Tracy City; 4 sons, Marcus (Beth) Irvin of Palmer, Leighton Irvin of Alabama, Andrew Irvin of Alabama, and Neil Pickett of Afghanistan; daughter, Savannah Irvin of Alabama; 2 stepsons, Hunter Whited and Skyler Smith; 2 grandsons and a host of nieces and nephews.
