Obituary of French Truman Shahan

French Truman Shahan, 71, passed away on December 28, 2020 in Manchester, Tennessee. Mr. Shahan was a “tunnel rat” during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.
Mr. Shahan was preceded in death by his father, Truman Shahan, Sr., and his sister, Kay Carver Bateman. He is survived by his daughter, Tabatha Hicks of Morristown, Tennessee, his brother, Carson Shahan of Cleveland, Tennessee, and his sister, Glenda Guinn of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
A service will be held Tuesday January 19, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. est. in The Chattanooga National Cemetery with burial immediately following. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
