Obituary of Beverly Johnson Smith

Beverly Johnson- Smith, age 58, of Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital of Winchester, Tennessee on Friday, January 1, 2021. Born July 24, 1962, to the late Carl and Joyce Johnson, Beverly will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church of Tracy City, Tennessee, who loved serving the Lord and fellowshipping with her friends. Beverly also enjoyed fishing in her spare time. She will be dearly missed. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of twenty-seven years, Hayden Smith and one brother, Stephen Johnson. She is survived by three sons; Christopher (Amy) Smith, Matt Smith and Blake Byers; one daughter, Angel (Eddie Green) Smith; one brother, David (Pat) Johnson; one sister, Susan (Phillip) Johnson; three grandchildren, Riley, Layne and Keldon and a special host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Cumberland Funeral Home- Tracy City from 12-2PM. Funeral services will be held at 2PM,in the chapel, with Bro. Claude Hoback and Bro. Mike Rigsby officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Gregg Cemetery in Tracy City, Tennessee.
