Obituary of Kenneth "Kenny" O'Neal

Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne O’Neal, Sr., age 68, of Pelham, Tennessee, passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Born September 4, 1952 in Tracy City, Tennessee, “Kenny” will forever be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping and fishing. He was the owner and operator of Kenny O’Neal Trucking Company for over a decade. “Kenny” lived a peaceful life always willing to lend a hand and never meeting a stranger. He was a great mechanic and “handy man” and will be missed dearly by his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of thirty-five years, Linda O’Neal; father, Charles O’Neal and two brothers, Edward O’Neal and Robert O’Neal. Survivors include his mother, Hazel Ruth O’Neal; two sons, Kenneth (Kasondra) O’Neal, Jr. and Derrick O’Neal; one daughter, Kendra Baltimore; two brothers, Bruce (Sonja) O’Neal and Mike O’Neal; one sister, Marie (James) Shelton; five grandchildren, Hunter, Trinity, Kenzie, Dagen and Keeley and one very special lifelong friend and brother-in-law, Homer Layne, Jr. Visitation will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home- Monteagle on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 4-8PM. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 1PM. Internment will immediately follow at Summerfield Cemetery in Monteagle, Tennessee.
