Obituary of William Shelton

Mr. William A. Shelton age 73 of Coalmont, Tennessee passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 16, 2011. He was owner of WWAM Christian Radio in Jasper, was a retired coalminer and a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Shelton was born in Tracy City on May 24, 1938, a son of the late William Howard and Nellie Dishroon Shelton Seagroves. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Shelton.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Sue Shelton; children, Ricky, Larry and Danny Shelton; brothers, Robert, Raymond, Billy, David, Jerry and Bobby; sister, Willie R. Shelton Parsons; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Andy Lockhart and Reverend Jack Nichols will officiate. Burial will be in Bonny Oaks Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends Thursday 5-9 P.M.
Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
