Obituary of Robert Roddy, Jr.

Robert Roddy, Jr., age 63, of Coalmont, Tennessee, passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Born to the late Robert And Billie Ruth Roddy, Sr., on January 14,1957, Robert will always be remembered as a loving father and brother. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and hiking. He was the Baseball MVP of Grundy County Highschool -Class of 1975 and his passion for the game continued throughout his life. He was an avid coin collector, loved playing cards especially Tonk, and playing pool. Robert also worked on small engines in his spare time. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Russell Roddy. Robert is survived by one son, Corey Roddy and one daughter; Tiffany (Greg) Unger; two brothers, Bill (Doris) Roddy and Joseph Roddy; and one sister, Rhonda Kay Roddy. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, no services are scheduled at this time, however the family plans to hold a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
