Mr. Harold Lee Collins, age 77, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester, Tennessee after a long 3-year battle with cancer. He was born on March 6, 1943 in Guntersville, Alabama. Harold is preceded in death by his parents; Eunice and Girlie Sims Collins; daughter Dreama Gilliam Mann; brothers, Ed Collins, Bill Collins, Lionel Collins, Rufus Collins; sisters, Della Faye Evans, Lucille Rhoades and Dorothy Mae Sanders.
Harold was a veteran of The United States Army and a member of Airview Baptist Church in Skymont, Tennessee, he was also a member of the Local Co-Op.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed farming and loved sharing is crop with everyone. He also was a seller of eggs for many years. Harold never met a stranger and was always willing to help.
Harold is survived by his wife of 31-years Linda “Sue” Collins; sons, Ted (Mary Ann Meeks) Gilliam, Fred Gilliam; daughters, Michelle (Bob) Andrews, Vicky Anderson; grandchildren, Felicia Hereden, Coty Gilliam, Jessica Ruth, Jamie Willoughby, Sierra Gilliam, Tyler Andrews, Erik Andrews, Casey Anderson; great-grandchildren, Jaylee King, Brystal Layne and Calianna Gilliam.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 12, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at Foster and Lay Chapel with Brother Jason Rymer officiating. Burial will immediately following at Plainview Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2020 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Funeral Home in Tracy City, Tennessee.
