Obituary of Edna Meeks

Mrs. Edna R. Meeks, age 85 of Tracy City passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Frances Marion Roberts and Maggie Marie Fults Roberts and was preceded in death by her husband James Buford Meeks; daughter Rita Lynn Meeks; son James Wayne Meeks; granddaughter Sandy Rose Anderson; grandson Jamey Meeks; great-granddaughter Shelby Brooke Johnson; brothers Leonard, Lemuel and Louie Roberts; sisters Esther and Eileen Roberts. Survivors include sons Danny Ray Meeks and Billy Merle Meeks, both of Nashville, Donald (June) Meeks, Tracy City; daughters Edwene (David) Johnson, Beverly (Larry) Campbell and Pamela Anderson, all of Tracy City; sisters Elvia Gilbert and Eva Ruth Smith , Silvis, Illinois, Elizabeth Eula Hrenko, Mentor on the Lake, Ohio, Ernestine Gilbert, Gruetli-Laager; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will be Plainview Cemetery in Tracy City, Tennessee.
