Obituary of Homer Clinton Sanders

Homer Clinton Sanders, age 75, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. Born on June 11, 1945 to the late Dillard and Lillian Sanders, Homer was a United States Army Veteran, who was a natural artist that never found anything that he could not draw. He loved his family and animals dearly and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Homer loved planting flowers, gardening and will always be remembered for maintaining a beautiful yard. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Mahalon Sanders and Stacy Sanders; and three sisters, Louise Dempsey, Doris Smartt and Lolita Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sanders; son, Clinton Ray Sanders; two daughters, Tammy O’Neal (Kim Parker) and Darlene Sanders (Johnny Nunley); five brothers, Adam Sanders, Billy Sanders, Dillard Sanders, Leslie Sanders and Weldon Sanders; one sister, Edith Nunley; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for family and friends, at Cumberland Funeral Home- Tracy City location, on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 12-2PM. A Memorial Service, with The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard, will immediately follow with Bro. Ralph Shrum officiating at 2PM.
