Mrs. Helen Louise Thomas Sanders, age 96, passed away, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Ohman Family Living at Blossom in Huntsburg, Ohio. She was born on November 29, 1923 in Tracy City, Tennessee.
Helen is preceded in death by husband, H.D. Sanders; parents, Roy H., and Ester Elizabeth Thomas; sisters, Lucretia Crabtree, Willie Mae Geary, Edith Bryant; brothers, Leroy Thomas and Kenneth Thomas.
Helen was a simple lady that did not require a lot but loved her children with all her heart. She also was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. Helen really enjoyed baking and her favorite flower was the Lily.
Helen was an amazing woman; she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Helen is survived by her sons; Gary Wayne (Mary) Sanders, Glen Rowland Sanders; daughters; Kriss Lamay (Bob) Foster, Helen Alynn (Lowell) Vannatter, Melissa Ann (John) Snipes, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 12, 2020, 10:30 P.M. at Foster and Lay Chapel, burial will immediately follow at Plainview Cemetery. Family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M.
