Obituary of Clercy Burnett

Mrs. Clercy A. Burnett age 87 of Coalmont, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011, at her home. She was born in Coalmont, a daughter of the late Douglas P. and Arrie Hayes Woodlee and was preceded in death by brothers, William Woodlee, Hershel "Dick" Woodlee; sisters, Lillian Hobbs, Earline Turner and Frances Evie Rackar; son, Marshall Burnett; grandson, Kevin Dewayne Curtis. Mrs. Burnett had spent many years in Florida in the restaurant and food service business before returning to Coalmont. Survivoris include her daughters, Brenda S. Wise of Coalmont and Linda Carol Rogers of Ridge Manor, Florida; sister, Corrine Henley of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Patricia Nunley, Greg Curtis, Tania Curtis, Dana Gaffney, Robin Holloman and Jim David Lesure, 11 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with speakers Anthony Dishroon and Jack Nichols conducting services. Burial will be in Coalmont Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rocky Hobbs, Richard Scissom, Charles Nunley, Tony Bean, Patrick Lawson, Rick Lawson, Roger Nunley and Dennis Henley. The family will receive friends Friday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee.
