Obituary of Billie Marie Weaver

Mrs. Billie Marie Weaver, age 85, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital in Winchester, Tennessee. Born on February 1, 1935 to the late Raymond and Evelyn Brinkley, Billie was a member of Morton Memorial United Methodist Church of Monteagle and loved doing the flower arrangements for the church decorations. Founded by her father during the 1960’s, Billie continued and grew The Gospel Partners Mission Group, having success with building an orphanage and school in India. In her free time, Billie enjoyed bird watching and photography. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Dennis Weaver and one sister, Bettie Faye Lynds. She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Jimmie Don Weaver; and children; James Ashley Roberts, Lauren Weaver, Lela Ann Ruth, Harvey Bruce Weaver and David Kevin Weaver; one brother, John Arthur Brinkley; Fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at their home, 530 Littell Lake Rd, Tracy City, Tn 37387 on Sunday September 20, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. An additional memorial service will be announced at a later date ,to be held in Florida, for friends and family. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net. Arrangements made by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The Gospel Partners Mission Group, at Mountain Valley Bank in Monteagle, Tennessee.
