Obituary of Shirley "Sherry" Campbell

Shirley “Sherry” Campbell, age 58, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 31, 2020. Born to the late Lewis and Edna Nunley, on April 5, 1962, “Sherry” had chosen to be a homemaker most of her life, even though she did not like cooking. Her entire world revolved around her child and grandchildren and she will forever be remembered for being supportive of others and loving like no other. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Oma Lee Anderson, Sandy Bess and Charlene Tate. She is survived by her one and only child, Stephanie (Chris) King; her ex-husband, Steve Campbell, Sisters; Sylvia Meeks and Gail (Harold) Clark, Brother, “Dalchie” (Christine) Nunley; Two Grandchildren, Shailyn and Maddox; her “second mother”, Thelma “Nanny” (Leon) Campbell, very special friend, Jerrica Watwood and several special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Foster-Lay Chapel in Tracy City, Tennessee on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 4-8PM. Funeral Services will be conducted, at the funeral home as well, on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1PM. Burial will immediately follow at Plainview Cemetery.
