In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 30 th , 2020 Janice Parsons was called by the Lord to join her beloved husband and daughter in heaven. She was born the daughter of Hamp and Tressie Thomas of Tracy City on September 22, 1950. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Randell Parsons; daughter Connie Marie Melton; brothers William, AP “Peanut”, Jack, and Jeff “Duke” Thomas; sister Loulene Anderson.
She is survived by her son, William “WR” (Kasey) Parsons; Son-in-law, Michael Melton; grandchildren, Tiffany and Chasity Melton, Jordan and Brandee Parsons; sisters, Leeannie Parson, Opal Adams, Nioko Byers, Carrie Sue Sanders, Debra Jane Myers, Jozell Anderson, Pamell Marlowe, Delores Campbell, and Darlene Thomas.
Known most for her quick wit, beautiful smile, and love for the Lord, she will be missed by many.
There will be a graveside service at Clouse Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 1 st with Bro. Joe Phipps officiating.
