Arville E. Roberts, 89, of Manchester, passed away in a Manchester, TN hospital Saturday morning. Mr. Roberts was a retired drag line operator for the coal mining industry.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Ophelia Roberts, Manchester, daughters; Doris Ann. Roberts, Alexandria, VA, Arvillene Bowden, Suffolk, VA, and Jean Hill, Valdosta, GA, sons; Jim Roberts, Jacksonville, FL, Steve Roberts, Tracy City, TN and Anthony Graham, Manchester, TN, 17 Grandchildren, 28, Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Coffelt officiating. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery, Sequachee, TN. The family will be receiving friends from 5-9 PM at the Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, TN
