Obituary of Charlene "Nay Nay" Tate

Mrs. Charlene (Nay Nay) Tate, 55, passed away at her home in Coalmont, Tennessee on August 20 ,2020. She was born in Manchester, Tennessee on September 14, 1964. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Edna (Meeks) Nunley, sisters, Oma Lee Anderson and Sandy Bess. Charlene was an outgoing, loving person who never met a stranger. She had a great compassion for her family and loved going to church. She also enjoyed helping with Blood Assurance Drives. Charlene is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends. Charlene is survived by her two sons; Cody (Joanna) Tate, Brandon Tate; brother, Dalchie Nunley; sisters, Gail Clark, Sherry Campbell, Sylvia Meeks; grandchildren, Nova Tate, Josie Frakes and several nieces and nephews. Service will be Monday, August 24, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Foster & Lay Chapel with Brother Clint Shrum officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Plainview Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Funeral Home in Tracy City, Tennessee.
