Obituary of Pernell Snider

Pernell Snider, age 58, of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Pernell was born June 14, 1962 in New Hope, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Ruth Dodd. Pernell was a kind and loving husband and family man to his wife and his children. He was a veterinary assistant for many years with a heart for caring for animals. His passion was fixing cars, fishing, and Alabama football. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Tina; sons, Jeffery (Brittani) Snider and Lee (Amy) Phillips; daughter, Angie Snider; brothers, Teddy Dodd and Charles Snider; sisters, Charlotte “Sissy” Dodd and Karen Dodd; nine grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews and extended family also survive. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 5, at 4PM with Judy Seals officiating in the Foster and Lay Chapel with burial to follow in the Clouse Hill Cemetery. There will be a period of visitation with the family starting at 10 AM Wednesday until time of service.
