Obituary of Cody Garrett Johnson

Cody Garrett Johnson, age 29, of Winchester, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 20, 2020. Born on December 20, 1991 to Phillip and Susan Johnson, Cody had a passion for music. He was a lead singer, guitar, and drum player. He enjoyed playing video games with his friends, wood working and making people laugh. He will forever be dearly loved and missed by his “brothers” and family. Other than his parents, he is survived by his children, Damion Allen Johnson and Shiann Felcity Johnson; sisters, Candice (Alex) Benitez and Jami Michelle Decker; and “brothers”, Kacie Rowan, Josten Rowan, Kyle “Roadie” Layne, Arthur “Fluffy” Olney, Lewis McFalls, Patrick Sanders, Jeremy Johnson and Christopher Lutes; special nieces and nephew, Zoe, Garrett, Mindy, Meigan and Kinsley. Visitation is scheduled at the Cumberland Funeral Home-Tracy City location for Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 4-9PM. Funeral services will be held at the Cumberland Funeral Home/ Foster -Lay Chapel in Tracy City on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 2PM. Burial will immediately follow at Gregg Cemetery.
