Obituary of Anita Celeste Green

Mrs. Anita Celeste Green, age 52, of Sewanee, Tennessee, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at her home. Born on August 3, 1967 in Opelika, Alabama, Anita loved arts, crafts, reading poetry, attending art festivals and the great outdoors. Preceding her in death is her father, Robert Culbertson; stepfather, Charles Miller and daughter Cassidy O’Neal-Maddox. Survivors include her husband, Charles “Tony” Green; mother, Edith Miller; son, Brandon Brackman; daughters, Krystle (LJ) Alonso-Chandler and Jennifer Alonso; brother, Bryan Culbertson; sister, Teresa (Gary) Montgomery; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Kayleena, Jacob, Jeremiah and Alice and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home-Monteagle on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 4-8PM. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11AM, with the committal service being held later that afternoon at 2PM at the Derryberry Cemetery in Columbia, Tennessee.
