Mayna was a gracious host to Jane and me during many visits to their home in Richmond, VA. We were thrilled to join them in NH at one of Walter's Exeter reunions and also to attend Mayna's wedding to dear Walter in Sewanee. Rest in peace, dear Mayna.

Dear Walter and Family,
Since I have not heard from Mayna since my husband's death (her cousin, Doug Morton), I decided to look her up on the internet last night. I was so sorry to learn of her passing. She was a lovely woman and I know Doug's Mother, Harriet Bradford, loved her like another daughter. Mayna was wonderful artist and we did have one of her works of the Gobi Desert. Mayna, you and your family will be remembered in my prayers. Again I am so sorry for your loss.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
