Obituary of Neva June Alexander

Neva June Alexander, age 72, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away from this life, Sunday, May 10, 2020. She was born on December 20, 1947 in Franklin County, Tennessee to the late Howard Sherrill and Verbie and Charles Ewell Pinegar. Neva loved serving the Lord and was a member of Paynes’s Cove Methodist Church in Pelham, Tennessee. She was a machine operator at PCA and enjoyed baking, cooking, listening to music and most of all traveling. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings; Deborah Sherrill, Anna Jean Schittini, James Robert Sherrill and Paul Howard Sherrill. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Alexander; sons, Johnny Alexander, Jr. and Anthony “Wayne” Alexander; daughter, Laura Sims and brothers, Rex Sherrill and Gary Sherrill; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Rutledge Hill Community Church on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 12PM, with Brother James Smith officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 10AM until time of service. Burial will immediately follow at the Rutledge Hill Cemetery.
