Mrs. Ida Mae Hoback age 87 of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee, a daughter of the late George King and Casper Summers King and was preceded in death by her husband George A. Hoback, brother Buck King and sisters Ethel Gipson and Virginia Anastasia. Mrs. Hoback was a member of the Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Claude (Ruby) Hoback, Tracy City; daughter Rebecca (Jim) Conry, Sewanee; grandchildren Angela, Todd, Tami, Misty and Jamie; great-grandchildren Tyler, Madison, Cole, Britney and Angelina, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
