Carson D. Geary, 17, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed from this life Monday, March 23, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Sewanee, Tennessee. Carson was born June 14, 2002 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Clayton Geary and Candace Sanders Geary Dixon. He is preceded in death by his dad Clayton Geary, Grandfather Darrell Sanders and grandparents, Dennis and Willie Mae Geary. Survivors include his mother Candace (Johnny) Dixon; brothers and sisters; Connor Geary, Chelsi Needham, Mindy (Josh) Brown, Brittany (Seth) Taylor, Bethany (Brett) Dixon, nieces Eliza, Emma and Tessa, grandparents, Kathy Brewer Levan and Valerie Sanders. Several aunts, uncles and cousins. Carson was a senior at Grundy County High School, class of 2020, and a member of The Grundy County Yellow Jackets Football Team. He enjoyed, spending time with his family, being outdoors with his friends, listening to country music, and was an avid Alabama football fan. Carson will be greatly missed, and his memories will be forever cherished by his family and friends. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 29, 2020 in the Foster & Lay Chapel. Burial immediately following service at Tabernacle of The Lord Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 28, 2020 from 4:00-9:00P.M. for visitation. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Grundy County Football, 24970 Sr 108, Coalmont, TN 37313 or Darrell Sanders Scholarship, P.O. Box 1359, Monteagle, TN 37356 The Funeral will be livestreamed on the Cumberland Funeral Home, Facebook page for those who are unable to attend the service due to the current crisis. Due to Covid-19 Health Concerns we ask that you do not bring food to the funeral home Online condolences and memories can be shared with the family at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
