Obituary of Estelle Ladd

Estelle A. Ladd, age 87 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away from this life on March 9, 2020 at Rock Gate in Cowan, Tennessee. Estelle was born in New Market, Alabama on May 4, 1932 to the late Morris and Georgia Ann Wilson Anderson. She is preceded in death by her husband James Bufford Ladd, Sr., sisters; Doris Davis Anderson, Patricia Caldwell, Hollis Anderson, Grace Condra, Beatrice Meeks and Alice Johnson, brothers; John T. Anderson and Tommy Anderson. Estelle was a decicated and hard worker at Shaw Industeries for 20 years. She was a loving wife and mother. Estelle also loved animals and birds. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and baking. Estelle is survived by her son, James B. Ladd Jr., daughter, Delores Ann Ladd and her husband Joseph Emmette McKenna, sisters; Fredia Guthrie and Betty Jo Gilliam. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Cumberland Funeral Home in Monteagle, Tennessee.
