Obituary of John Wells

Wells, John Neel Passed in peace March 2, 2020 at the age of 67, after a long challenging journey with Frontal Temporal Dementia. John will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend of 41 years , Mickey and his sons Thomas (Karina) and Ryan. John will also be remembered by his grandson Connor, sister Joyce Smith (Charlie) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Susan and Dotson Wells, and brothers Bill and Steven Wells. He was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with degrees in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. He had a long successful career in the Pharmaceutical Industry and was the author of many patents. He was actively involved in the church and community everywhere he lived. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 6 at 1 PM at Morton Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Brain Support Network, P.O. Box 7264, Menlo Park, CA 94026.
