Sandra, Ben, Beth and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. It was not only an honor for me to be able spend time with Freddie but a privilege for me. I have many special memories with him from playing horse shoes (a game of which he loved and had skillfully mastered), to watching him do blacksmithing (a trade of which he was an artist) to sitting around a camp fire listening to his football and off roading stories. I know he will be missed by many due to the impact he has had upon many lives. Thank you for sharing him with us. Praying for peace and comfort for each of you.

Freddie was always so cordial when we visited in their home. He was a very, very talented individual. So glad he worked side by side with John to show his handiwork to build their beautiful house on the amazing bluff. We were also impressed with the sundial he designed and built. Such talent!

Charlie's favorite comment from Fred after Gordon Mason graduated and they were rooming together was the broom hitting the floor from room below and later Charlie took the door off the frame into the middle of the room with his fist. They got real quiet after that Fred said. Rest in Peace friend. Great pictures were taken at that reunion several years back I agree with Bill Russell. Missing several friends even now from that time. Gail Black

Sandra, we are sad to learn of your loss but know heaven gained a special new citizen. We remember when you hosted a gathering of the “old” Tech Golden Eagles at your beautiful home on the mountain.
