Obituary of Skeyler Forrestt Thrasher

Skeyler Forrestt Thrasher, age 26, of Pelham, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019. Skeyler was born August 09,1993, in Winchester, Tennessee to Johnny Wayne Thrasher and Victoria Lynn Hill Goode. He is preceded in death by grandparents Jerry Wayne and Beverly Thrasher; maternal grandfather James A. Hill and maternal great grandmother Elsie Layne.

Skeyler was a veteran of the United States Army, and loved his job as a corrections officer with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. He was also a diehard Titans fan.

Skeyler is survived by his father Johnny Wayne Thrasher; mother Victoria “Torrie” Goode (Zac); step parents Jeff and Dava Tant; siblings, Caleb Thrasher, Jerrick Thrasher, Brighton Smith, Storie Smith, Kady Tant, and close cousin Ethan Rorer, nephew; John Wayne Thrasher and niece; Vi Marie Thrasher.

A visitation with family will begin Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 2:00 till 8:00 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home Chapel, Monteagle, Tennessee. There will be no formal services. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
