Obituary of William Randell Parsons

Mr. William Randell Parsons, age 70, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019. He was born April 22, 1949 in Tracy City, Tennessee, to Howard and Rachel Parsons, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Melton; brother, Charlie Parsons.

William is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice Thomas Parsons; son, William (Kasey) Randall II of Tracy City; daughter, Amanda (Micheal) Parmley of Monteagle; son-in-law, Michael Melton of Tracy City; sisters, Janie (Lowell) Cantrell of Athens, TN, and Brenda (and the late David) Trussel of Tracy City; brother, Gene (Pam) Parsons of Cedar Bluff, AL; grandchildren, Tiffany Melton, Chasity Melton, Jordan Parsons, Brandee Parsons, Autumn Parmley, and Danica Parmley; large extended family and beloved friends.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 2, in the funeral home chapel in Monteagle. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 9:00 – 12:00. Burial will be in Clouse Hill Cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
