Obituary of Virginia Pearl Meeks

Mrs. Virginia P. Meeks age 83 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed from this life Monday, June 3, 2019, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Norman and Mildie Nolan Green and was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Meeks; daughter, Patricia Ann Nunley; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Green, Ruby Fults and Betty Green; grandchildren, Vanessa Graham and James Nelson Meeks, Jr.

Mrs. Meeks was a member of Bethshan Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Nelson (Diane) Meeks and Wayne (Diana) Meeks, Janie Hobbs and Carol (Eddie) Meeks; brother, Wesley Green; sisters, Beatrice Kilgore and Clara Nolan; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be in the 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Bethshan Baptist Church with Brother Bobby Payne and Brother Terry Winton officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.
